A Maryland county judge is set to dismiss the suit by three alumni against the Alumni Association Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Naval Aademy Alumni Association. In a draft opinion and order distributed yesterday, Circuit Court Judge Philip T. Caroom said there were no grounds for the case under Maryland law. The statement said that the allegations do not amount to "fraud, irregularity, or arbitrary action which permit intervention by a Maryland court". The legal action from these alumni will most likely end here. In a comment quoted in an article on HometownAnnapolis.com, Michael Tackney said "It seems to raise as many questions as it is answering, but it seems to clearly tell us we are done, there is no question about that."
