Your Class gift committee is hard at work with the Naval Academy Foundation on our fundraising effort for our Class Gift in conjunction with our 20th reunion. Although the reunion is a few years out, the effort is mostly undertaken this year, and specifically in the next couple of months. If any of you would be willing to work with us (no more than 20 minutes!) on updating rosters of classmates from your company and pointing us in the right direction of those more supportive of our project, please give Bob Moskal, Matt Testerman or Ken Ferguson a shout in the next few days.

Testimonial from Hank Brown: As an instructor in the Economics Department at the Naval Academy, I was privileged to accompany another professor and four midshipmen on an International Programs Office trip to India. We engaged in numerous activities that gave us a perspective into their professional military, remarkable economic growth, abject poverty, and intriguing culture. The trip was to enhance the academic and professional advancement of the midshipmen, but was a life experience for us all – one that I draw upon as an officer, a teacher and a person on a regular basis. We all returned with a broader view of the world, humbled by the privilege of our birthright, appreciative of the country we serve, and fully aware of the magnitude of India’s potential.
